Hi class,
Today we had our food safety quiz.

After the quiz, I gave you instructions on your menu planning project. Each team of 5 (you all know your team members) will be responsible for planning a weeks worth of meals, 7 days worth of breakfast, lunch, dinners, and snack. KEEP IT SIMPLE.
on Monday 11/20 your team must submit to me:
Weekly Menu
Daily shopping list on which you have noted the total cost for the items. Look in the ADS, and do some "shopping' to complete this project. You will not get a grade if you do not help the team.

Homework: Get started on project. On Monday, you will all be assisting Mrs. Chung on preparing for Thanksgiving Lunch. You will be graded on participation.

Hi class,
Today we are beginning our unit on household smarts. We will start with manging your diet, as a prelude to learning to cook. Today's lesson is based on Chapter 4 Lesson 1 in your text book.

Your homework tonight is the Lesson review question for Chapter 4 Lesson 1 found on page 119, and workbook activity 21.

Extra Credit

Using the chocolate chip recipe given to you on Nov. 2, increase the recipe to make enough cookies so that each of your classmates can have 3 cookies. Worth 5 points

10 points if you can prepare cookies for your class using your own recipe (NOT LIMITED TO CHOCOLATE CHIP). You will be describing how you made them to your class to receive the full credit.
